Material Inspection
The stuff for the build part must fit the design needs. Common stuff is hot-dip zinc steel or aluminum mix. When check, make sure the stuff type, size, and thick match the pictures. For steel, see the zinc coat is same and go all over, no see hurt or rust spots. The coat job is stop rust. If hurt happen, the life of the build part will get short.
2. Dimension and Position Inspection
Before put up the mount thing, check the place and high of the bases. The gap from each base's center line to the plan spot must not go over the okay range, usual ±5 mm. The top high mistake of the base also need keep inside ±10 mm. If base spots are wrong, the beams and sun panels can't line up right when later put.
3. In-Process Installation Inspection
When you put it in, look at the join spots. The many parts of the fix thing are often linked with bolts. The check has to see bolt sizes are right and each bolt is tight to the set twist number. Loose bolts make the whole thing less stiff and can cause shake in big wind. Also, if welds are there, look at the weld face to make sure it is smooth and has no cracks or holes.
The up-down straightness of the hold-up poles need check. Too much pole lean will change the carry power of the top part. Usually, the okay straightness wrong is no more than 2/1000, that mean 2 mm for each meter of high.
4. Overall Stability Inspection
After mount structure all put up, need check whole thing. This big look at flat and straight of build. For many row of hold, make sure beams in same row go straight line and height gap between near beams stay okay, usually ±5 mm. Also, check all tight parts are tight and none is gone.
5. Corrosion Protection and Appearance Inspection
Look at the mount thing surface for scratch, dent, or peel of the zinc coat. Small hurt from put-up should be fix with a special cold-zinc spray. The look should be clean and no junk. No rust sign at the bolt joins.
6. Documentation and Records
Quality checks must have write records. These got material papers, base spot measure numbers, bolt tight check papers, and big size re-check numbers. These papers are big proof that the put-up thing meets quality rules.
